Donald Joseph Qualls, better known as DJ Qualls is an American model and actor. His fame was sparked by his appearance as a character in Road Trip. Since then, he has appeared on 20 features such like The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. Also, he has been on over 22 television shows such as Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls had been diagnosed as having Hodgkin's Lymphoma around age 14, and has battled it ever since. He was able to get rid of his cancer after 2 years. However, the earlier treatment had a severe impact on his health as well as stunted growth. Security in the financial realm was his primary aim once he started, as he'd seen poverty throughout his life. I've lived such a low-cost lifestyle for so long I have been able to enjoy that financial security or my life feels beyond my control, he stated in an interview. He also reflects on his own childhood and wants to address the issue of bullies. He says that cruelty breaks his heart. His ideal film role and in life is the father. He admits that Directors don't want to cast his character in these characters. He'd like to have a child so that he could devote less time on his career to more attention to the child.
